Treat Mum to a special Mother’s Day lunch at the 15th century Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa on Mothering Sunday, 31st March. The three-course menu will be served in the hotel’s elegant AA two rosette Gallery restaurant.

Starters

Broccoli and wild garlic soup, blue cheese pesto
Pressing of Suffolk ham hock, pickled red cabbage purée, treacle bread
Crab, sea vegetables , avocado, squid ink
Wild nettle panna cotta, goats cheese, linseed crisps
Asian duck tacos, spring onion, hoi sin sauce

Mains

Roast sirloin of Suffolk beef, cooked pink, Yorkshire pudding,
roast potatoes, confit carrot, greens
Roast Suffolk pork, apples, roast potatoes, sage stuffing, parsnips
Leg of Welsh lamb, pamentier potatoes, moroccan spices, sprouting broccoli
Whole lemon sole, braised salsify, puy lentils
Tarragon and wild mushroom gnocchi

Desserts

Vanilla crème brulée, rhubarb and custard macaroon
White chocolate mousse, passion fruit, feuilletine
Glazed lemon tart, lemon textures, vanilla ice cream
Banoffee baked Alaska, caramel sauce
English cheese board , gooseberry preserve

The Mothering Sunday lunch is priced at £39.50 per person
or £20 for children under age 12 including a gift for mum.
