With sparkling Christmas trees standing proudly in every nook, decorations hung high amongst the beams and an undeniable charm throughout, there really is no place quite like The Swan at Christmas time.
Our three-night Christmas package promises an indulgent celebration in which we invite you to simply sit back and enjoy every moment whilst our Folk look after you. Spend quality time with your loved ones, relax and unwind, and make memories to last a lifetime, leave your shoes at the door and make our luxury 15th-century home your own this Christmas.

24th December, Christmas Eve
Arrive from 2.30 pm onwards where a warm glass of mulled wine awaits
3 pm - 5 pm | Cream tea will be available in our cosy lounges
5.45 pm | Champagne and canapé reception and local choir performance
7 pm | Get to know your fellow guests over a four-course Christmas Eve dinner
10.45 pm | 'Midnight Mass' at Lavenham's St Peter and St Paul's Church
On your return | Tuck into mince pies and mulled wine before hitting the hay
25th December, Christmas Day
8 am - 10 am | Champagne breakfast
12 pm | Champagne and canapé reception
1 pm | Join us for a spectacular spread as Chef and his Folk serve a five-course Christmas Day lunch
5 pm | The King's speech will be available to watch in the McCallum room
7 pm - 9 pm | Informal buffet dinner
7 pm | Annual Christmas quiz in the lounge
26th December, Boxing Day
9 am - 1 pm | Brunch
10.30 am | Optional guided walk around historic Lavenham, please note this must be pre-booked at reception before arrival
3 pm - 4 pm | Titbits at three
6 pm | Five-course Boxing Day gala dinner with live jazz performance by "Perfect Pitch"
27th December
8 am - 10 am | Leisurely breakfast
By 11 am | Check out, and a fond farewell from The Swan Folk
Tables on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day will be mixed with other guests. Please note, The Gallery restaurant is now fully booked, any further bookings made will be seated in our charming Mess Call 487 restaurant.

Luxury self-catered Christmas break in Lavenham
If you love the idea of spending the day in your pyjamas, dancing to Christmas songs in your slippers and spending time with the ones you love, but still like the idea of getting away this Christmas, The Priory Dairy might be just what you're looking for.
The Priory Dairy is a charming 13th-century cottage located just across the road from The Swan. With three double bedrooms sleeping up to six adults, a spacious lounge with dining area, private courtyard and equipped kitchen, it really is the perfect base to escape this festive season.
Lavenham is certainly a very popular place to visit during the most magical time of the year and it's not hard to see why. The high street dazzles as Christmas lights hang from every corner, boutique shops burst with delightful gifts for oneself or your loved ones, and a genuine community feel of Christmas spirit all around.
