Renowned Suffolk hotel awarded prestigious Four-Star Hotel AA Rating, Two Rosettes and Recommended Spa status

The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa has been awarded a prestigious Four-Star AA rating and a coveted Silver Star Award, alongside two rosettes for its Gallery restaurant and recommended spa status following a recent visit from AA inspectors.

The Suffolk hotel secured an 88% AA Quality Score during the overnight inspection and was praised for its high standards of hospitality, service, and cleanliness.

The inspector noted the hotel team was attentive and professional, ensuring a welcoming experience for guests. The housekeeping team was also commended for their meticulous attention to detail, maintaining impeccable standards across all areas of the hotel.

In the inspector’s report, The Swan was described as “very well maintained throughout”, with tastefully appointed bedrooms, bathrooms, and public spaces offering a high degree of comfort. The exterior presentation and landscaped grounds were also highlighted as key strengths of the property.

The Gallery restaurant was singled out for its high-quality dining experience, with a very good selection of dishes at dinner and quality produce at breakfast. This has led to the recommendation of two AA Rosettes - a recognition of the culinary excellence that guests can expect at The Swan.

The hotel’s Weavers’ House Spa was also awarded recommended spa status.
