Immerse yourself within our history from World War II with our exclusive two-night stay, which includes a walking tour of nearby Lavenham Airfield on one of a limited number of days they open during the year.

Walking tour of Lavenham Airfield

We are thrilled to be able to offer admission for two adults as part of this package to one of the exclusive walking tours at Lavenham Airfield. The airfield walks are run by volunteers and therefore only opens for a small number of days during the year. The walk will take place on the Sunday of your stay, commencing at 10am and finishing at 1:30pm. Although this is not a long walk, there are many stops throughout the walk to show visitors many of the places where moments in history were made. Tours will continue to take place in all weather conditions, therefore please pack appropriate clothing and footwear for walking on an airfield.
All proceeds of the ticket sales go towards the USAAF 487th Bomb Group Memorial Fund.

Terms and conditions

Rate is subject to room type, date and availability and is based on two sharing.Offer can be withdrawn at any time and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, applies to new bookings only. Includes an allowance of £30 per adult towards our dinner menu in The Gallery Restaurant, excluding drinks. Transport to Lavenham Airfield is not included and tours will continue to go ahead in all weather conditions.
