Get a culture fix at one of our local Suffolk art galleries.
With such a beautiful Suffolk countryside setting, naturally there are many that have been inspired to take up a paintbrush. You can enjoy both local and international artists’ work at these local Lavenham art galleries. In nearby Sudbury you can also visit the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough, one of leading artists of the 18th century, at Gainsborough’s House & Museum.
A former wool merchant’s residence, this 15th century building exhibits local, national and international artists, with permanent displays of the works of Leslie Gibson, Mary Wild and John Leach.
